Mar 2020Can't fault the hotel at all! Staff were amazing especially the head waiter! Food choices were varied and fresh, never had a bad meal. You won't go hungry! Rooms, though a little compact, are fully furnished and keeping with the style of building. Bar was friendly and relaxed. Would happily stay again - thanks
Feb 2020February Ski Trip - Stayed here on a Nielson Package. Very friendly staff, happy to help. Also the food was great, for a budget ski holiday I'd be happy with buffet stodge to load on calories for the slopes but Biancaneve do a traditional local meal, including a big tasting menu on the Friday night. Like all budget ski hotels can be a little noisy (tiled floors, doors etc) but I always carry ear plugs for any hotel stay.
Feb 2020Good value ski holiday - Stayed at the Biancaneve with Neilson holidays. Rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Lots of hot water for showers. Very friendly staff, who were happy to help. Food was traditional. Good selection at breakfast. Evening meals consisted of a salad course, starter, main & dessert. Overall, we felt that the hotel is a little dated, but if you are after a comfy hotel with no frills, this place is just for you.
Jan 2020Very pleased with this hotel - excellent value for money. OK the decor is not the latest but it had a lovely cosy feel and very clean as per other reviews. Room was serviced daily to a high standard. Enjoyed the food - plenty of choice for breakfast and a hearty 4 course evening meal with a selection of starters/mains/desserts. The nearest lift is probably about 10 minutes - BUT you can leave skis and boots in a ski hire shop right next to the main lifts AND get the bus to take you up the hill in the morning, saving a walk. So actually very civilised. Loved the ski area and enjoyed fabulous conditions for January - blue skies and sunshine with great snow on well-groomed pistes.
Dec 2019Would stay again for sure! Ive just got back from a week's stay ay the biancaneve and i'd gladly stay there again tomorrow. The food is great, everyday there is a different menu, the quality of food is excellent overall and you're never left wanting more. I'm genuinely gutted that i now have to cook for myself again 😂 The rooms are fairly small and basic but kept clean and are warm, oh and the showers are excellent (a deal breaker in my book). The view my room was great and it's close to town (15mins walk at most to reach the furthest parts of town). The best thing about my stay here though was the staff, they were so welcoming, kind and accomodating. They couldnt have been more helpful and i hope to see them again in the future!
Feb 2019Great little hotel which suited our needs perfectly for a skiing holiday. Food is good & plentiful. Staff are very friendly & accommodating. Rooms are basic but perfectly comfortable with TV (Italian language only) ensuite shower & toilet. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. Rooms were warm. 10 minute walk to the main slopes. Hotel has a ski locker room and also had an arrangement to use ski lockers near the slope with a local ski hire shop. Recommended.
Feb 2019Great stay This was our second visit to this hotel. The food is amazing and the staff are all lovely. Marco and Adriana are so nice and all the staff work very hard to make your stay a great one. About 10-15 min walk to the slopes although there is a free bus. The only criticism is we’ve all put on about a stone in weight from the delicious and plentiful food 😂
Jan 2019Good location, great staff slightly noisy Stayed here end of Jan on my own. The hotel is walking distance (10mins) to main gondolas but bus stop it right outside should you wish to take it to upper lifts (no need for it at all) Rooms are ok, dated with 80s style (not on purpose - mainly no investment I guess), but spacious and very very clean. Staff ere incredibly friendly and helped with all my queries and complaints, kitchen staff were also great, good food, authentic Italian Northern cuisine. Talk about complaint - it was the noise, this is the only downside, all flooring is tiles, including in the corridors, rooms, and the doors are thin, with a slight gap from ground clearing - you can imagine the issue, every single step, conversation, walkers, children cries are amplified into your room. May not sound much of an issue, but imagine midnight and a group of young drunk skiers coming in, they woke me up every night, so I had a talk with reception, and they sorted it. So if you want a good night sleep, trying staying in upper floors, away from the lift area.

Sestriere is part of the Vialattea ski area, an international ski area that includes 7 other mountain resorts all connected to each other. The other locations are Sauze d’Oulx, Oulx, Sansicario, Cesana, Pragelato, Claviere and the French Montgenèvre. They offer 400 Km of slopes: more than 249 runs (7 green ones, 80 blue ones, 120 red ones and 42 black ones) and 70 lifts. The ski area is vast and varied, thus able to meet all expectations.
